Nice to Meet You!
My name is Lisa Bunting Thoms and I have been making bears professionally since November 1997. Over the past 10 Years, My creations have been nominated for several Awards including the TITA, Teddy Bear Scene Reader's Choice Awards and the Ace Awards. They've also been included in all of the major magazines on a regular basis. I'm basically very humbled by the attention and feel very blessed that editors as well as associates in the Teddy Bear Industry have acknowledged my work by including it among other talented artist's bears that I truly admire.

My work is constantly changing and evolving as I grow as an artist but lately I find myself going back to things that I enjoyed in childhood. As a child, things that made me happy included my dolls, creating sock monkeys, and of course, the holidays, which are a magical time for any child. So I decided to get back to the basics and introduced a new line of bears and rabbits called q.D.paToOtieS, vintage style sock monkeys and other "creatures", as well as some fun holiday pieces inspired by holiday decorations and celebrations of the past.

I also have free patterns and fun events there featuring the work of some of my friends in the Teddy Bear and Softie world.
