Reggie Watkins - On the Road to Expo

Reggie Watkins is a L.E. of 5

Meet Reggie Watkins, Road Warrior. He's my show special for the Doll and Teddy Bear Expo. His name is Reggie Watkins, Road Warrior. One half of him is made from a fiery red mohair ('cause he's burnin' up those Interstate highways) and the other half is made from a cotton map fabric of highways all over the U.S. He's been "aged" to look like he's gotten a little road grit along the way.

Some other interesting tidbits about Reggie. Reggie measures just 6” (not including his ears) and his size makes him the perfect traveling companion. Reggie is made from a medium length Schulte kid red mohair with a creamy yellow backing and an “aged” cotton map fabric depicting actual maps from all over the United States. He has a vintage shoe button as one eye and the other eye has been “replaced” by a vintage cream button. He is 5-way jointed, has wired ears for poseability and is filled with steel shot and Polyfil stuffing.

Although Reggie longs to travel abroad, he’s a bit wary of both boats and airplanes but perhaps if adopted by the right person, he could get used to those modes of transportation and live out his dream of covering all the roads in Europe as well as the rest of the world. You’ll never get lost with Reggie in hand because he also comes with his own vintage compass and fits snuggly in his own traveling bag.

Reggie is my first ever limited edition and there will be 5 available for purchase at the Expo.
