The word is "update"! I've updated my Etsy Shop, lowered some prices, dusted off the shelves and added a few things.
Anyway, if you'd like to be "in the know" about my whereabouts, what's up in my life or see my latest creations as they are made you can check out the q.D.paToOtieS Blog which is where I See Myrtle in My Etsy Shop! post the most updated information on a daily basis. I will be changing my Newsletter or rather downsizing it. I'm trying to do some "weeding" in life so I have more time to do what I want which is to create new things and new patterns for my Blog. Therefore, the Newsletters will be revised and will just be a general announcement of my latest creations. I found out pretty quickly that it takes a lot of time to put one of these together and after looking at the statistics of how many people actually open them and read them, I decided my time would be better spent elsewhere. Sorry to those of you who enjoyed it for the few months that I had it up and running but it was a decision that I regretfully had to make. You will find new patterns and projects pretty frequently on the q.D.paToOtieS Blog as I found it to be a better way to reach more people and easier for everyone to access.
Finally, I have been updating the website so you can order directly from it. I will be adding some Paypal buttons in the near future so you can just click and buy. If you do not have Paypal it is free service to buyers and a very convenient way to pay for items on the web. |

 Cyrus Makes the Scene!
My bear Cyrus Dinwiddie, seen at the bottom left hand corner of the page adorned in his favorite hat and scarf (the little guy never takes it off as he thinks this outfit brings him good luck!), was pictured in the "What's New?" section of the April 2008 issue of Teddy Bear Scene magazine. |

Reggie Watkins - On the Road to Expo |
 Reggie Watkins is a L.E. of 5
Meet Reggie Watkins, Road Warrior. He's my show special for the Doll and Teddy Bear Expo. His name is Reggie Watkins, Road Warrior. One half of him is made from a fiery red mohair ('cause he's burnin' up those Interstate highways) and the other half is made from a cotton map fabric of highways all over the U.S. He's been "aged" to look like he's gotten a little road grit along the way.
